The world is becoming more
and more deeply immersed
in irreverence and cruelty.
Codes of decent behavior
are being ignored and laughed at.
The material is receiving
greater attention than
the moral and spiritual.
Faith in the victory of truth,
justice, and goodness is fast
disappearing; the distinction
between good and bad is seldom recognized.
Nevertheless, Human has immense
latent capacities, waiting to be tapped and used.
Human feels the urge to love all beings,
to share joys and grieves, to know more,
and satisfy the curiosity of intellect,
to peep behind the awe and wonder
that Nature arouses in him/her.
Human is able to gather information
about all kinds of things from all comers of the world,
but, human is unaware of what happens in the comers of own mind.

Health is inclusive of all in all that is in us, visible or invisible. Achieving total health and happiness is possible for all those who earns and wills it. When we have health, we have hope, when we have hope, we have life. It's our utmost duty to maintain balanced body, mental, emotion and spirit and persist to be whole and intimately connected. Prevention is much better, cheaper and smarter than cure. Understand that this is the only race where all humans should be winners!

If wealth is lost, nothing is lost, if health is lost, something is lost, if character is lost, everything is lost..that is what people felt in olden.
In olden times, people felt:
If wealth is lost, nothing is lost,
If health is lost, something is lost,
If character is lost, everything is lost.
On the contrary,
modern youth feels that if wealth is lost,
everything is lost
and if character is lost, nothing is lost.

Beware of the food we consume, they breed traits of ...
When Sathwa guna dominates,
one is calm and contented.
When Rajo guna dominates,
one is active and impulsive.
When Tamo guna activates our mind,
we become dull, sleepy and lethargic.
How are these traits develop in the individual?
You must know that a very subtle part
of the food becomes the thoughts.
Hence if you consume nourishing food,
fruits, leaves and vegetables and sprouts,
with a little butter milk etc,
you are bound to exhibit calm & contented qualities.
When you are angry and fearsome,
agitated and emotional, they are due to hot,
spicy, masala contented foods.
You may become lethargic and sleepy
when you consume foods cooked
before six or eight hours.
Several use old food items cooked
and kept in Refrigerator.
Some use it even for two to three days.
They dull our intelligence and induce sleep and lazyness.
Hence beware of the food you consume
lest you can never escape from the passions that agitate you.

When are you too old? 88?
WHEN ARE YOU TOO OLD? by Steve Goodier
When asked how it was that she has lived so long, one
91-year-old woman replied, "I think God is testing the
patience of my relatives."When is "too old"?
At what age do we give up?
At 100, Grandma Moses was still painting,
and Titian painted"Battle of Lepants" when he was 98.
At 93, George Bernard Shaw wrote Farfetched Fables.
At 91, Eamon de Valera served as president of Ireland.
At 90, Pablo Picasso still drew and engraved.
At 89, Arthur Rubinstein gave one of his greatest
recitals in New York's Carnegie Hall, and
PabloCasals, at 88, still performed celloconcerts.
At 82, Winston Churchill wrote the four-volume work, A
History of the English-Speaking Peoples, Leo Tolstoy
completed I Cannot Be Silent, and
Goethe, at the sameage, finished Faust.
At 81, Benjamin Franklin engineered the diplomacy,
which led to the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.
When are you "too old"?
Only on the day when you truly
have nothing left to give.
And the good news is this:
that day never has to arrive!

One should see to it that one gives no room for bad vision, bad hearing, bad speech, bad thoughts or bad actions..
What does non-violence signify? It is not merely refraining from causing harm to others. It also implies refraining from causing harm to oneself. Whoever desires to observe non-violence must see that he does no violence to himself, for one who harms himself cannot avoid harming others.
You must constantly examine whether your conduct is right or wrong. For instance, in the matter of speech, one must examine whether one’s words cause pain to others. One must see that one’s vision is not tainted with evil intentions or thoughts. Nor should one listen to evil talk either. All these things cause harm to a person. Hence one should see to it that one gives no room for bad vision, bad hearing, bad speech, bad thoughts or bad actions.
And how do you determine what is bad? By consulting your conscience. Whenever you act against the dictates of your conscience, bad results will follow.

The world is suffering today from too much of knowledge, virtue is not increased in proportion to the advance of knowledge, this is the root cause of
You are who you are as reflected in clear waters....
When we look at a mirror, we are reflected back very truely. But will you ascribe reality to the reflection? The reflection depends upon you whereas you are not depending upon your reflection. While moving in the road during sunny time, your reflections may fall in dust and durt. The reflection may fall anywhere. But are you in any manner affected by this? Even a boy will say that the relection is false and you alone is real.
Remove the mirror Maya, and Self alone exists. In a tatched hut, the sun is reflected as many images all circular or elliptical as per the directions of the rays of sun. Will you assert that there are equal numbers of sun in the sky? The sun is One only for the entire world. Likewise supreme Self is One. His reflections through the mind principle enables us to cognise the world. Think about these eteranal truths always and realise that all what we infer through the senses are nothing but pure illusions.

My birthday or whose birthday? Happy birthday to me, and thank you MUM!
All of us celebrate our birthdays, but perhaps I don't necessary celebrate one. It is great to know our existence, thus self-centered. It is even more important that we should be love-centered. Ever thought of your mother? Ever ask oneself the reasons why we should celebrate our birthdays?
Give a few seconds to understand why?
Every year on our birthdays, we have forgotten one great incident. That is our mother who gave birth to us who went to labor, sweating, bleeding and in deep pain. And thanks God that we are successfully born.
That is why credits should be given to our Mum instead.....
Dearest friends, remember this important message.... Call your mum to say a thank you, embrace her to tell her that you love her. It is because of her that you are here.....
That is how one should celebrate a birthday!
Happy birthday to all those who understand my message...
Too many a times that we fail to recognize to feed our souls with the appropriate 'foods'

No matter how much is eaten, one is never full...
No matter how much is eaten,
one is never full,
no matter how much is eaten,
one is never satisfied.

no matter how much is consumed
there is never any satiation
of the remaining five senses of eye, ear, nose, body and mind.

Vision Vs. Reality
VISION VS. REALITY
There is the vision,
of how things could be,
and the reality,
of how things really are,
and most often,
these don't match.
So think ahead,
before you take
that plunge.

The work place...
THE WORK PLACE
Why do people do,bad things,
at the work place?
Don't they know,
that life is short
and death,
is ever approaching?
All the back-stabbing,
conspiring
and politicking; --
what's it all for?
They'll probably leave there,
in a few years,
It's as if they think,
that life is eternal,
and that they'll live,for long.

Peace and happiness are essentials!
The baby weeps as soon as it is born
because the individual being has no desire
to get entangled in the objective world once again.
Science describes it as the process
of breathing for the first time and
the clearing of the air passages.
But why should it weep?
The process can be started
by some other way, say,
shaking or shivering, is it not?
This life which begins
with a wail must end with a smile.
When you were a little baby,
all round you smiled though
you kept on wailing.
But when you die
all round you weep at the loss;
you should smile in peace and quiet resignation.
The pleasures from sensual enjoyment
must finally be converted into happiness from divine union;
the pleasures of the senses must gradually be left behind
and you must develop a taste for the higher
and more lasting pleasure derivable from
the springs of your own personality.
For divine union, devotion
to God is the main thing,
the head and the crown.
Peace and happiness are the other essentials.

When obstacles come, meet them with courage..
When obstacles come,
meet them with courage.
They harden you and make you tough.
Suffering and misery are inevitable acts of the Divine .
God does not want these calamities,
but man invites them by way of retribution for his evil deeds.
This is the corrective punishment by nature,
which induces man to give up the wrong path.
All this is part of the grand design
in which the negatives serve to glorify the positives.
Thus, death glorifies immortality;
ignorance glorifies wisdom;
misery glorifies bliss; night glorifies dawn.
