Bind the family with duty and love....

What is the most obvious sign of a truly educated man? It is the control he observes over his own behavior - it is the ultimate discipline of silence he follows, before he indulges in any rash action. Such kind of learning will never fail him and will stay with him until the very end. But such kind of education is rare, today - and even if it is found, it is not understood by the narrow and small minds of man. It is even ridiculed and considered to be backward, unintelligent and unambitious.

The child of the new age stands with little security and poor guidance from a very tender age. It is unfortunate, that in this age, even the mother looks for work outside her home. She does not comprehend the importance of her task at home, nor does she find the discipline and fulfillment in her duty. Yes! If her arms do not give the warmth to her child, if her bosom cannot bear the sobs of her little one, then tell Me, will the child not obviously seek solace in wrong doings and bad habits, only to attract her lost attention. Know that no money can weigh her sacrifice. The love of a mother is nothing smaller than a miracle, and it is only when a child experiences a mother's selflessness that he can even compare her to the highest form of love - God!

He knows that there must be a God, for He gave him the divine gift - "a mother"! Yes! The work of a mother is hard - that is why she takes the highest place in each one's life. It is her duty to follow her husband and lead the children. It is her love that gives the home a foundation. Her reward is the success of those she loves and protects. Her prayer must be the child's confidence - her peace their well being - her silence their inspiration. The crown of the mother is keeping the respect and dignity of the home. She is the child's first teacher - the very first source to comprehend divine love.

The father, too, must not make the source of making money or earning his sole responsibility and life. It is important that he teaches the child the controls of discipline by the restraints he, himself, observes. It is his duty to protect his wife and children from all external influences. The partnership between the parents must be strong and secure. The conflicts between them must stay silent and unheard by the child - one's anger must be cooled by another's sacrifice.

Their love and understanding for each other will give their child the strength to face sudden foreign attacks - the peace in the home will give the child his nourishment of peace and inner contentment. Know, My dears, that if you are unable to give the best to your own child, then who in the world will? Do not throw them into the hands of teachers and friends. Teachers will always change - friends will only leave - but the guidance from the parents will stay with the child, until his love ends for them.

Bind the family with duty and love - envelope the air with the fragrance of sweet dedication. Yes! The home is the heaven where the parents are God - the children the angels. The parents are the message - the child is the messenger. He will only give what he has received from them. The gift of learning is the biggest of all. Your perseverance to teach by the truth of example is your biggest sacrifice. The child is innocent and easily impressionable. Your sincerity, My dears, will surely touch him. Do not be eager only to become parents, but keep the enthusiasm, the goal, the optimism and the backbone, right until the end of the task.

from a divine source
