Sometimes we do face challenges or misfortunes or remarks that are negative and sad....... I used to tell people... We cannot prevent things from happening, but we can do something with it.... How?.... Give it 48 hours!...... get the thing done or share them with your friends. Stop talking about it after 48 hours!
When people remind us of those unfortunate or mishaps, tell them...
"I have forgotten about it! Let's not talk about it again!"
"Never drown ourselves with memories of sadness or misfortunes, the burden will one day be too heavy and our life journey will be meaningless!"
So, do it right! Self-affirmation is a tool to be used for good purposes!
I agree affirmation is a powerful weapon.
